Islamic Heritage Park, or Taman Tamadun Islam in Malay language, is a park located in Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. One of its famous attractions is the monument park, which at the year I visited, consists of more than 15 replicas of buildings related to Islamic civilization. Some examples are:
Al-Haram Mosque (Saudi Arabia) and Dome of The Rock (Jerusalem)
Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque (Brunei), Pattani Central Mosque (Thailand), Taj Mahal (India) and Menara Kudus Mosque (Indonesia).
Prophet's Mosque (Saudi Arabia), Kul Sharif Mosque (Russia), Great Mosque of Xi'an (China) and Citadel of Aleppo (Syria).
I visited some of the real mosques. Visit our YouTube channel for the travelogues. So I decided to create these photos:
Another attraction is the Crystal Mosque, which is a real, functional mosque. Is is located not far from the monument park. It was constructed between 2006 to 2008 from steel, glass and crystal.
